Samsung has squashed rumors that it will unveil the Galaxy S III at its French press event in March.
Samsung’s Galaxy S III will not make its official presentation at the company’s March 22 event in France, quite contrary to widespread speculation.
Samsung spokesman confirmed to Next Web that the event was not proposed to talk about any new products and is instead an open day with a focus on its existing listings.
With Samsung confirming the Galaxy S III would not be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona this month, everyone’s eyes were on the next Samsung media event.
Korean news outlets had linked the Galaxy S III with a May launch, even though Samsung remaining reserved about such things.
Samsung has the Galaxy S Advance lined up to launch in this year in the UK and other global regions. The phone Galaxy S Advance is an upgraded version of the original Galaxy S with a new dual core processor.
Some rumors on Samsung Galaxy S III like the new tablet with 11.6 inch display and there are some tales like updated Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note handsets running Google’s Android Ice Cream Sandwich version of Android operating system.
